Alpaca

The ALPACA (previously called the Merino Peruvian) has a coat that consists of tight ringed curls, while not being frizzy. The coat has a natural parting down the centre and some of the hair hangs over the face - with the characteristics of the Peruvian.

Unlike other longhaired breeds, the Alpaca's coat is NOT wrapped in preperation for a show, because of this the coat must be combed regularly to remove any bedding material caught up in the coat.
